An established business with a practical focus
TEK Fire Doors is the trading name of Tek Interiors Ltd. Established in 1999, the business works with commercial and residential customers who need help with their fire doors. Our focus is the door itself and the service required, from understanding an existing concern to discussing a new installation or ongoing care. We want an enquiry to lead to an understood scope rather than a decision based on appearance alone.
The business has supplied, successfully installed and certified over 15,000 fire doors. That experience supports a straightforward approach: listen to the property requirements, understand the information available and discuss what happens next. A large installation history does not remove the need to assess each new opening. Every project still requires attention to its own details.

Three connected services
Our service line is Inspect | Supply & Install | Maintain. Inspection helps establish the condition of existing doors within an agreed scope. Supply and installation concerns the proposed new doors and their fitting. Maintenance addresses the ongoing needs and identified defects of existing doors where suitable work can be established. Keeping those purposes clear helps customers ask for the right support.
We work with qualified fire door inspectors and installers. For a customer, that should translate into a clear discussion about what is being commissioned and which records apply. We do not describe every visit as certification, and we do not offer doors as a supply-only purchase. Ask us about the relevant service if the terminology in a report or specification is unfamiliar.

Approval and membership mean different things
TEK Fire Doors is a trading name of Tek Interiors Ltd. Our published approval information distinguishes LPS 1271 installation from LPS 1197 inspection, maintenance and repair under term contracts for hinged and pivoted timber fire doorsets. Ask which scheme and documentation apply to the particular work being proposed. The scope of an approval matters as much as the presence of a logo.
FPA membership is presented as membership, separately from third-party certification of work. Other badges also have their own purposes and should not be treated as proof of the fire performance of an individual door. Keep the evidence for the actual product and installation with the property. We can discuss the relevant documentation when reviewing your proposed service.

Agree the scope before work starts
A clear quotation should identify the openings and the service being requested. Establish whether the task is inspection, combined supply and installation, or maintenance of existing doors. These activities have different purposes and should not be treated as interchangeable. If an assessment identifies additional information or a revised proposal, that needs to be discussed before assuming that the original scope remains appropriate.
For a managed building, identify the person who can authorise the work and receive the documentation. Occupiers, property owners and managing agents may each have a role in arranging access or approving changes. Provide any building-wide specification at the outset so that the proposal is considered against the actual requirements. A convenient date or preferred finish should not replace this preparation.

London coverage and a clear point of contact
TEK Fire Doors focuses on London, including North London, South East London, East London, Central London and the City of London. Our business contact address is Hillstone Court, Empson Street, Bow, London E3 3LT. Give the full site address with an enquiry so we can discuss the practical arrangements for that property rather than relying on a broad area name.
You can contact us on 020 7118 0699 or email info@mlsfiredoors.com. We offer free quotations for the services we provide. Include the intended timeframe and any information already available about the doors. We will discuss the next step for your request; an initial conversation does not itself confirm the scope, an appointment or the suitability of a particular product.

Keep the information with the property
Good records make the next inspection or maintenance enquiry easier to organise. Keep the agreed specification, door identification, relevant installation documents and subsequent findings together. A door reference should be understandable to someone who did not attend the original visit. For a larger building, linking references to a plan can help new staff locate the correct opening.
Documentation should describe its actual scope. An installation certificate is not a blanket statement that every part of a building complies with all fire-safety requirements. Likewise, a maintenance record should not imply that inaccessible doors were checked. If there are limitations, outstanding actions or work outside the agreed service, those points should remain clear when information is passed to the next responsible person.

Request a free quotation
Contact us with the details of your property and a short explanation of the outcome you need. If you are comparing quotations, make sure each relates to the same openings, product requirements and work. Ask what is included, what depends on further assessment and what documentation is expected. A total price is easier to understand when the underlying scope is clear.
Our services are fire door inspection, fire door supply and installation, and fire door maintenance. We do not provide a supply-only service. If you are unsure which service applies, choose Other / Need Advice when enquiring or call the team. Explain the situation in your own words and we can help clarify what information is needed next.
